About The Mesivta
Mesivta of Cincinnati imbues talmidim with an appreciation and love for Torah and assists them in becoming valuable contributors to society.
We offer a warm, student-centered environment in which students enjoy a rigorous dual curriculum of Judaic and General Studies, as well as strong extracurricular offerings. We see every student as possessing great potential, and aim to inspire as well as to educate.

Experienced, Devoted Rebbeim
Our faculty has years of experience in chinuch, bringing with them pedagogical methods specialized for bochurim. In addition, a special emphasis is placed on the rebbi - talmid life-long relationship.
Emphasis on Middos
Derech Eretz is of utmost importance to us, and we prioritize mussar as part of our seder of learning.

Harav Tzvi Meir Scheinbaum
Rosh Mesivta
Harav Scheinbaum spent much of his adult life in Telshe-Cleveland, where he established a strong kesher with the Roshei Yeshiva & Rebbeim and was chosen as the 9th grade Rebbe. Harav Scheinbaum spent twelve years as the beloved 9th grade rebbe until his move to Cincinnati in 2024 to bring his incredible love for each talmid to the Mesivta. Harav Scheinbaum continues to serve as the Rosh Mesivta for Camp Kol Torah's Mesivta program every summer.
Rabbi Moishe Fuchs
Menahel
Rabbi Moishe Fuchs grew up in Baltimore and learned in the Scranton Yeshiva for 7 years. He moved to Cincinnati in 2016 as a member of the Cincinnati Community Kollel. During his time in the Kollel he received his Semicha and taught Middle and High school aged boys for many years. He joined the Mesivta in its inception as the S'gan Menahel.
Rabbi tzvi fishman
Ninth Grade Rebbe
Rabbi Tzvi Fishman is a talmid of Telshe - Cleveland, South Fallsburg and Yeshivas Brisk in Yerushalayim. Rabbi Fishman has extensive experience helping talmidim improve their comprehension of Gemara. He brings an unmatched energy to his Shiur and instills a love of learning in every Talmid.
Rabbi Yehuda Leib Pfeffer
NINTH GRADE B’KIUS REBBE
Rabbi Pfeffer, a native of Pittsburgh, PA, learned in the Scranton Yeshiva and has been a beloved Rebbi in Cincinnati's Hebrew Day School for many years. Rabbi Pfeffer, a talmid chacham, yerei shamayim and a devoted Rebbi, brings warmth, ruach, talent, mussar and innovation to help his talmidim succeed.
Rabbi Zalman Frager
TENTH GRADE REBBI
Rabbi Zalman Frager, a native of Monsey, learned in Mesivta Ohr Reuven and in Yeshivas Mir in Eretz Yisrael. He became a close talmid of Rav Elya Baruch Finkel, eventually completing the five year cycle under him. He then proceeded to Brisk and gained a strong fluency in kodashim under Rav Avraham Yehoshua Soloveitchik. After eight years in Kollel and teaching in the L.A. area, Rabbi Frager brings outstanding clarity and integrity to Torah and yiras shamayim both in his classroom and by personal example.
Rabbi Moshe Gans
11th Grade Rebbe
Rabbi Moshe Gans grew up in Scranton and attended the Scranton Yeshiva as well as R' Tzvi Kaplan's yeshiva in Eretz Yisroel. He then learned for many years in BMG and in the Pittsburgh Kollel. Rabbi Gans forms a close relationship with each of his Talmidim, helping to grow to even greater heights in Torah and Yiras Shomayim.
